There are Times original version
There are times when I look to the
sky and begin to wonder why--
why anything so beautiful
was created for man's eyes.
And there are times when i look to
the sun and wonder how everything
was begun--when Adam first look
his master in the eye and
the very first song was sung.
There are times when I look to the
sea and then I do believe how
everything looked so peaceful
once when all mankind was at
ease.
And there are time when I looked to the
earth and lie down upon
Mother Earth's green meadows of ***
grass and her good solid earth.
There are times when I take a look
around then I marvel at what I've
found. I felt peace on earth good
will towards men and happiness all
around.
And there are times when I look
to the East to search for peace. But
peace was nowhere to be found
because of war raging all around.
There are times when I look to the
West and only to find people put to
the test. For I know the people
are tired of war and they want
to do is rest.
And there are times when everyone
should take a look around to see
what I've found. Then everyone
should look first to God and then
the rest will follow. And then the
rest will follow.
***I no longer refer to Mother
Earth but only to Father God.
